Micaela Lattanzio - Italian Contemporary Artist

Sculptural photography, suspended mosaics and installations exploring fragmentation, nature, identity and the relationship between microcosm and macrocosm.

Micaela Lattanzio is an Italian contemporary artist based in Rome. Through a distinctive visual language, she fragments photographic images to move beyond the surface of the visible, transforming bodies, natural landscapes and satellite views of the Earth into three-dimensional artworks, suspended mosaics and installations.

Her work explores the relationship between human identity and nature, tracing connections between microcosm and macrocosm through colour, light, shadow and movement. It has been exhibited internationally in galleries, museums and art fairs and is held in public, private and corporate collections.

Alongside her independent artistic research, Lattanzio develops selected site-specific and commissioned projects in dialogue with galleries, curators, art consultants and architects.
